  • The Coast Guard family includes active personnel, reserves and volunteer members of the hundreds of Auxiliary Flotillas serving throughout the country.
Group Grand Haven is served by several flotillas comprising hundreds of volunteer Auxiliarists who contribute thousands of man hours each year to promote and educate safe boating.
Auxiliarists provide valuable patrol time, Courtesy Marine Examinations, Safe Boating courses, Radio watch standing, and many other duties working side by side with the U.S. Coast Guard. On top of all that, auxiliarists must continue training and passing rigid on water and on shore requirements to maintain their readiness.
Auxiliary flotillas in the Group Grand Haven area are located in Manistee, Ludington, Grand Rapids, Grand Haven, Holland, South Haven and St. Joe. For more information, contact your local Coast Guard unit.
